Our History

On May 1, 1980, Carl Adkins began manufacturing oil and gas drilling tools. What began as a company with one employee and capital of $4,300 grew to be a corporation with annual sales of $4,000,000 in 1981. Within two years, Adkins had developed an international market and helped meet the needs of some of the largest oil and gas companies in the world. The reasons? Our Products

Adkins International Inc. manufactures and supplies API certified downhole drilling tools for oil and gas companies and drilling contractors. Adkins also provides specialty welding, machining, fabrication and design. To assure our customers our products will perform, all equipment manufactured by Adkins is reviewed by a Quality Control Department. And to further assure our customers, our Quality Control System for API products is approved by the American Petroleum Institute.
